About Us – Frankie and June

Frankie and June is an independently owned cosmetics brand based in St. Petersburg, Florida, specializing in handmade makeup, body shimmer, and a healthy obsession with anything iridescent.

I started Frankie and June in 2023 during a period of significant change in my life. After going through some difficult experiences, I wanted to reconnect with the creative side of myself that I'd neglected for years. I wanted to make something with my hands, experiment with color, and build something that was entirely my own.

What started as a creative outlet eventually turned into a cosmetics brand.

I've always been drawn to things that are a little unconventional, whether that's music, art, fashion, or makeup. I've never particularly liked the idea that beauty needs to follow a specific set of rules, and I wanted Frankie and June to reflect that.

What We Make

Our cosmetics are handmade in small batches, with a focus on multidimensional pigments, color-shifting finishes, and products that encourage experimentation.

From iridescent liquid eyeshadows and high-shine lip glosses to scented shimmer oils and plastic-free body glitter, I spend a lot of time experimenting with ingredients, textures, colors, and finishes.

I'm especially fascinated by cosmetic chemistry and the way different materials interact to create something visually interesting.

We also carry a curated collection of stainless steel jewelry inspired by alternative fashion.

What Matters to Us

Ingredient transparency, cruelty-free cosmetics, and reducing our reliance on conventional plastic glitter are important parts of how I approach formulation.

I don't believe that natural automatically means safer, or that synthetic ingredients are inherently bad. I care about understanding what ingredients actually do and making informed decisions about what goes into our products.

Frankie and June is also rooted in the belief that people should be free to express themselves without feeling pressured to fit someone else's expectations.

Whether your makeup is barely noticeable or visible from across the room, that's entirely up to you.

More Than Makeup

Frankie and June is a small business, but I want it to stand for something beyond selling cosmetics.

Supporting humanitarian causes, particularly those involving mental and physical health and children's welfare, has always been part of my vision for the brand.

My hope is that Frankie and June continues to grow into something that combines creativity, individuality, and a genuine commitment to doing some good along the way.
